The Council of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Sunyani is inviting applications for the position of Director of Finance.

Qualification Required & Experience:

To be considered for the position of Director of Finance, applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Possess both a professional qualification and a relevant postgraduate degree.
• Be a member of a professional Accounting and Finance body, preferably:
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA)
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Certified Accountant (CA)
• Have served in a university or analogous institution as a Principal Accountant/Deputy Director of Finance for a minimum of 3 years, or have a minimum of 15 years of post-professional qualification experience in a university or analogous institution.

Terms of Appointment:

The appointment is full-time and initially for a period of 5 years. It may be subject to renewal for another term of up to 5 years, but not beyond the compulsory statutory retirement age of 60 years. The successful applicant must be able to serve the full term of 5 years before reaching the compulsory retirement age.
