The Council of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Sunyani is inviting applications for the position of Director of Internal Audit.

Qualification Required & Experience:

To be considered for the position of Director of Internal Audit, applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Possess both a professional qualification and a relevant postgraduate degree.
• Be a member of a relevant professional Accounting and Finance body, preferably:
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA)
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (CIJA)
  • Certified internal auditor (CIA)
• Have served in a university or analogous institution as a Principal Internal Auditor/Deputy Internal Auditor for a minimum of 3 years, or have a minimum of 15 years of post-professional qualification experience in a university or highly reputable and recognized auditing/accounting firm, industry, commerce, and/or public service.
