Responsibilities:

As the Manufacturing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage, lead, and support the team to ensure the achievement of manufacturing, quality, and maintenance targets in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will oversee the full scope of manufacturing, including Engineering, Utilities, Safety Health Environment & Quality (SHEQ). This role requires effective management of these functions and strong leadership of the Functional Heads within Manufacturing.

Key Duties:

1. Team Management: Lead and support the team to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to enhance individual and team capabilities.
2. Manufacturing Operations: Oversee and optimize manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards and regulations. Implement best practices and drive process improvements to enhance productivity.
3. Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality throughout the manufacturing processes. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
4. Maintenance Management: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
5. Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ): Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the manufacturing facility. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in SHEQ performance.

Requirements:

• Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving common goals.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, maintenance management, and SHEQ practices.
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to drive performance and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
