Our hotel is currently seeking a dedicated Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our valued clients and visitors. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression and providing exceptional customer service. Join our team and be a part of our welcoming environment.

As the Receptionist, your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel. You will assist visitors by providing directions and guidance to various areas within the hotel. Additionally, you will handle incoming phone calls, screening and forwarding them to the appropriate departments, and taking messages when necessary. Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area with necessary stationery and materials will also be part of your duties.

You will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, both in person and through phone/email communication. Therefore, it is essential to provide accurate and basic information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and amenities. Your professional and courteous demeanor will contribute to creating a welcoming and helpful atmosphere for all guests.

In addition to reception duties, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail and deliveries. Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access through the reception desk will be crucial. You will also handle front office supplies, keep inventory, and assist in updating calendars and scheduling meetings. Maintaining accurate records of office expenses and costs will be part of your responsibilities as well.

To qualify for this role, prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field would be beneficial. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good time management skills and the ability to multitask will contribute to your success in this position. A minimum of an HND/degree is required, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
