Job Vacancy For CONSULTANT – Communications Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Communications Analyst Consultant, your main objective will be to lead the advocacy, communications, media relationships, and corporate visibility of the UNFPA Ghana Country Office. You will play a key role in developing and implementing the Advocacy and Communications Strategy aligned with the 8th Country Programme Document. Your responsibilities will include developing communication plans, crafting messages and materials, monitoring media coverage, ensuring executive presence and visibility, and supervisory and management functions.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in advocacy, communications, media relations, or related roles. • Strong knowledge and understanding of advocacy and communications strategies. • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences. • Proficiency in social media platforms and experience in managing social media campaigns. • Experience in developing communication materials such as press releases, speeches, and reports. • Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build and maintain relationships with media and stakeholders. • Supervisory and management experience is an advantage. • Fluency in English is required.
