Department of Criminal Justice: AI for CJUS-P100 in Fall 2023

The Department of Criminal Justice is looking to hire 2 graduate student SAA – Associate Instructors for 2023-2024.

A stipend in the amount of $11,000, graduate student health insurance, tuition remission in the amount of 12 credit hours, and mandatory fee remission for Fall. If renewed for Spring semester, an additional stipend, health insurance, tuition remission, and fee remission will be applied for that semester. Details are subject to the offer of a Spring 2024 contract at that point in time.

CJUS-P100: Introduction to Criminal Justice 

  • Historical and philosophical background, structure, functions, and operation of the criminal justice system in the United States
  • Introduction to and principles of formal behavior control devices

Lecture times: MW 10:20 – 11:10 am

Discussion sections: Thursday 3:00 – 3:50 pm; 4:10 – 5:00 pm; 5:20 – 6:10 pm or Friday 10:20 – 11:10 am; 11:30 am – 12:20 pm; 12:40 – 1:30 pm

Must be available to attend the lecture and teach all three discussion sections on either Thursday or Friday.

The priority deadline for consideration is Thursday, July 20th.
