THE HRBIC LTD is looking to recruit for the position of head, Business Development & Partnerships for a Fintech Company located in Accra-Ghana.

Champion the business development/ expansion activities of the company by identifying and appraising opportunities and partnerships that will increase shareholder value.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Assess and analyze the potential to grow and adapt existing products and services.

  • Drive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to adapt current portfolios to new business opportunities
  • Guide business development research reports on potential revenue streams and business threats.
  • Identify, negotiate and close new business opportunities as well as identify opportunitics to improve business processes.
  • Improve the company profile and establish strong relationships with targeted chents and partners resulting in increased business opportunities.
  • Promote products, and services and develop and execute a strategic roadmap to enable more business to be won.
  • Evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
  • Anchor the development of proposals, feasibility studies, concept papers and business plans for new projects and initiatives.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend business opportunities and strategic partnerships to further the company’s growth.

Skills

  • Broad knowledge of the fintech space
  • Good knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of business development
  • Knowledge of micro and macroeconomie trends and their impact on the business.
  • Experience in selling to multiple different segments, and developing differentiated messaging & sales approaches across different target segments
  • Ability to understand & explain technical products and interact with both highly technical and business savvy B2B customers
  • Experience with using CRM software to track deal progress and indicate next steps
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify business opportunities.
  • A growth hack mindset and a proven track record of leading user and revenue growth
  • The ability to innovate and use creative means to achieve results
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and priorities.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
