The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of Credit Management and play a key role in minimizing AT’s exposure to various credit risks. As a Credit Risk & Analytics Officer, you will exercise discretion, analytics, and sound judgment in credit control and collections related to postpaid and hybrid clients.

Key Responsibilities: As the Credit Risk & Analytics Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Robust Receivables Management: Establishing mechanisms and following up on total outstanding receivables for assigned clients.
  2. Credit Worthiness Assessment: Conducting a thorough analysis of individual or business data to determine credit worthiness and risk profile, helping decide whether to extend services.
  3. Timely Collection: Ensuring 100% collection of assigned customer portfolio by the end of each month.
  4. Credit Limit Setting: Reviewing service applications and credit references to set appropriate credit limits.
  5. Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconciling statement of accounts and confirming balances with customers, reporting to the Credit Management Director and stakeholders on open invoices with action plans to recover overdue amounts.
  6. Workflow and Compliance: Developing and maintaining workflow processes to ensure credit customers adhere to necessary agreements and comply with AT Internal Control practices.

Qualifications and Experience: To be eligible for the role of Credit Risk & Analytics Officer, you must meet the following qualifications and experience:

  1. A university degree in a relevant field, with emphasis on Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  2. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience in Credit Control, Customer Experience, Account Receivables, or a related field.
  3. Experience in customer service operations is considered a plus.

Key KPIs: As the Credit Risk & Analytics Officer, your key performance indicators (KPIs) will be:

  1. Ensure 100% collection of assigned customer portfolio by the end of each month.
  2. Drive the follow-up of all customers impacting on bad debt monthly by ensuring each customer makes payment before month end.
