A leading rural bank in the Eastern Region is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of System Auditor.

General Purpose:

As a System Auditor, your main responsibility will be to ensure that the organization’s information technology infrastructure is functioning properly and compliant with internal and regulatory policies.

Job Description:

Your key responsibilities as a System Auditor will include:

• Analyzing information security controls to identify vulnerabilities in applications, network infrastructure, and operating systems.
• Monitoring the flow of data to ensure it is moving through computer systems as intended.
• Performing data analysis and testing of software systems for bugs or errors that could impact operations.
• Conducting security audits to ensure current security measures are adequate in protecting against threats such as hacking or data theft.
• Reviewing information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conducting physical audits of computer hardware and software to assess performance levels and detect errors.
• Monitoring network traffic and activity to identify security breaches or unauthorized data access.
• Reviewing data recovery plans to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.

Qualification Required & Experience:

To be considered for the System Auditor position, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Comp TIA, Cisco CCNA, or Palo Alto CCNA certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the same or a similar role in the banking sector.

Competencies & Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies and skills:

• Proficiency in T24 banking software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Computer literate with strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Demonstrates high standards of integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
• Good numeracy and coordination skills.
