Are you a skilled Technical Operator with a passion for ensuring smooth machinery operations and top-quality production? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a dedicated Technical Operator to join our team in Kumasi. In this role, you will be responsible for activating, monitoring, and maintaining assigned machinery daily, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency and product quality.

Duties

As our Technical Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your duties will include:

• Switching on the main power of assigned production machinery daily.
• Constantly checking machinery during production to ensure smooth operation and detect any unusual sounds.
• Taking responsibility for proper lube application.
• Reviewing downtime reports from the previous shift for any adverse reports or hindrances.
• Assisting in plant conversions and installations to facilitate efficient production processes.
• Ensuring that all product samples are examined and certified by the R&D and Quality Assurance Department before production starts.
• Preparing production and maintenance reports and submitting them to the Maintenance and Production Managers.
• Conducting thorough maintenance of assigned machines every Saturday to ensure they are in optimal condition for the next production cycle.
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification Required & Experience

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Mechanical/Technical Engineering Technician Part III or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Certification in Mechanical and Electrical safety to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Working knowledge of IS0 9001 to maintain high-quality production standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing production demands.
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments seamlessly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to document and report on operations effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly address any technical issues that may arise.
• Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
