Are you an experienced professional in auditing with the ability to support and assist the Head of Internal Audit in delivering effective audit services? Anum Rural Bank PLC, located in the Eastern Region, is looking for a qualified individual to join their team as an Internal Audit Officer.

Main Purpose of the Job:

As an Internal Audit Officer, your primary role will be to provide support and assistance to the Head of Internal Audit in delivering audit services for the bank.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the audit of electronic platforms.
• Participate in the departmental and agency audit of the bank.
• Support the Head in conducting security audits to ensure that current security measures are adequate to protect against threats such as hacking or theft.
• Assist in analyzing information security controls to identify vulnerabilities in applications, network infrastructure, and operating systems.
• Monitor the flow of data to ensure that it is moving through computer systems as intended.
• Conduct operational, compliance, financial, and investigative audits as assigned.
• Execute audit assignments in accordance with internal audit standards.

Qualifications Required:

• First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Banking with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related role.
• Part-professional qualification in ICA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of system auditing.

Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of T24 banking software and other banking applications.
• Familiarity with auditing, banking, and accounting concepts and principles.
• Ability to perform reviews on system development, operation, security procedures, and standards.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision.
• Applicants must demonstrate a high level of integrity, competence, and confidentiality.
