Job Description:

Jama Software® is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive to join their go-to-market team. In this role, you will take charge of the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing deals, with a specific focus on the Industrial and Consumer Electronics vertical. Your approach will involve building trust across multiple parts of an organization, including product teams, IT, finance, and C-level executives. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal resources such as Sales Development, Customer Success, and Marketing to drive new business opportunities and contribute to the company’s growth. Responsibilities:

As an Account Executive at Jama Software®, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the sales strategy for the designated region.
  • Driving the broader market strategy to target the right customers and secure new logo customers.
  • Engaging with potential clients using various selling techniques, from phone calls to advisory interactions.
  • Expanding Jama Software’s presence within existing customer accounts.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and quotas.
  • Managing the business pipeline, providing accurate reports and forecasts based on the sales model.
  • Analyzing pipeline data to identify trends and predict deal cycles.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
  • Developing strong relationships within customer accounts and acting as a mentor or champion.
  • Capturing and tracking activity and account data in CRM.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • 3-4 years of experience in enterprise-level sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of various sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, Solution Selling), forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • A proven track record of closing deals and achieving quotas.
  • Experience selling to sophisticated organizations, primarily to R&D and engineering at the CXO and Executive level.
  • Strong listening skills and an ability to understand and relate to complex customer challenges.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Systems Engineering/ALM/PLM/RM.
